End-User Applications
Floating ladder rail tracks (tracks on longitudinal sleepers with periodic supports) can significantly reduce train vibration and noise, but there is a safety issue to consider for high speed inter-city systems.Hovercraft as icebreakers, and safe aircraft operations in cold regions.
