Transport

The workshop will provide chartered coach transfer between Sydney/Kioloa and Canberra/Kioloa.


Tuesday 11 November:


Sydney to Kioloa

A Murray Coach will leave Sydney Kingsford-Smith Domestic Airport at 12:30 pm, arriving Kioloa at around 5:00 pm.

You will be met at Domestic Terminal 2 Arrival Hall outside Avis Car Rental by a Murray Coach driver.

Our Sydney transport coordinator is Abby Brown. Give her a call on 0447 757 260 for last minute assistance.

Canberra to Kioloa

Another Murray Coach will leave Canberra International Airport at 12:30 pm, stop at Oliphant Building, Mills Road, ANU at 12:45 pm, arriving Kioloa at around 4:00pm.

You will be met at the airport outside Avis Car Rental by a Murray Coach driver, or be picked up at ANU.

If you are taking the coach in Canberra please email Daniel Chan at cosnet@anu.edu.au to advise whether you will be boarding at the airport or ANU.

Friday 14 November:

A Murray Coach will leave Kioloa at 2:00 pm, arriving Sydney Domestic Airport at around 6:30 pm.

Another Murray Coach will leave Kioloa at 2:00 pm, arriving Canberra Airport at around 5:30 pm, then ANU at around 5:45 pm.


Interstate travellers please book your flights now, taking the coach times above into consideration.

Driving Directions to Kioloa

From Sydney or Wollongong take the Prince’s Highway (National Highway 1) to Ulladulla. Continue south for 20km to Termeil...

From Canberra take the King’s Highway (National Highway Number 54) to the coast and turn left (north) onto the Prince’s Highway at the roundabout, just north of the Clyde River Bridge at Batemans Bay, and follow 30km north to Termeil...

From Melbourne drive up the Prince’s Highway (National Highway Number 1) to Batemans Bay. Continue over the Clyde River Bridge at Batemans’ Bay continuing 30km north to Termeil...

... at Termeil, turn right (east) and drive 5.5km to Bawley Point, then turn right (south) and drive towards Kioloa village. After passing a caravan park on the left hand side, the Kioloa Coastal Campus is on the right, approximately 5km from Bawley Point.

The entrance is clear, drive over the cattle grid and up the ‘Avenue’ past the weatherboard cottages and you will see the sign for the Resident’s house where you need to check in. At night, several orange sodium vapour lights are clearly visible among the buildings.
